What is Re-Packaging?
Re-Packaging is about finding new purpose for excess packaging materials and putting them back into use. Many packaging products are wasted in the world, Re-Packaging helps recover some of it, and find them new purpose.
Re-purposing excess packaging
A lot of unnecessary waste is generated in the packaging industry. If packaging is considered as waste only for business reasons (e.g. design change, surplus quantity, etc) and not because of its condition or quality we can create a win-win situation for all participants.

Re-Packaging reduces packaging waste, helps the environment
Nordtek launched Re-Packaging to help re-purposing packaging that is considered waste without a better use. Re-Packaging with the help of All In Packaging, finds buyers for these packaging items, and prevents them becoming waste.
Without Re-Packaging, these packaging items are thrown to waste, destroyed, partly recycled as raw material and used to manufacture new packaging. Creating raw material from excess packaging and manufacturing new products requires a lot of energy and other resources. Re-purposing packaging before waste however has much less impact on the environment. In most cases the process only requires some transportation and warehousing before finding a new user for the items.

Re-Packaging saves costs for packaging buyers
Using re-purposed packaging is more cost effective than buying the same items newly from the manufacturer, although the products may have the same quality. Sometimes we can even add value to the product, like in the case of cardboard boxes. We buy some of them unused but printed, or after they have been used only once, when they are still in perfect condition. We put a new layer on the boxes, print them for the new buyer, and still offer them below the market price of the new ones.

Re-Packaging helps excess packaging owners recover resources
Excess packaging is created by a variety of factors: i.e. marketing a product line requires a change in the packaging's design or color; sometimes mistakes are made in the packaging ordering process, i.e. the wrong packaging is ordered for a specific product; and sometimes the business simply fails. What results is the availability of millions of pieces of excess packaging. Top quality items but no longer needed by the original product manufacturer.
What is excess somewhere, might be needed elsewhere. In order to efficiently meet offer and demand, goods are channelled through the All In Packaging network. This service gives manufacturers the opportunity to recapture some of their inventory investment on their unneeded packaging.
All In Packaging purchases surplus packaging components from companies all over Europe. It helps to cut down on corporate waste and at the same time helps companies looking for the same items at discounted price. Last, but not least it dicreases the consumption of our natural resources, thus it saves enviroment even more than recycling.
